Room was really good and staff was superbly helpful with every need that I had. Breakfast was not included in our special price and breakfast had a bit expensive price, but very much worth it. Selection of bread and other items was very huge and everything was fresh. Car parking can be either at the garage of the hotel or on the streets next to the hotel. The street parking is free around the hotel.

Great location, amazing view to the beach, close to the center of Gijón; the hotel provides bikes to ride around town, which is great.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating, the room is very clean and the location is terrific. But, like many European hotels, the bed is actually two twin beds, which is so weird for a North American - and even more annoyingly, they are on wheels and keep moving away from the wall if you’re sitting up in bed. (The wheels won’t lock.) That loses one star.
The other lost star is due to the iron. The room didn’t have one, so I requested one. They brought up one of those crappy little IKEA table-top ironing boards and it kept collapsing every time the slightest bit of weight was applied (aka - ironing a shirt).
Then - one of my biggest hotel pet peeves - the board had virtually NO padding, so when you iron with it the pattern of the metal grate under the cover is ironed into your shirt. I HATE THAT!!!
But the friendly staff, cleanliness and location make it somewhere I would probably stay again.

Very good location. Not as good as other NH 4* hotels, but if you're looking for a hotel close to San Lorenzo beach, this is the best one.
