I had a hard time deciding if I should give this 'resort' a 1-star or 2-star rating. First off, Torrox-Costa is a filthy area and filled with exceptionally rude peoplehowever, I am aware this is not the resorts fault. The entrance to the lobby is spectacular to see. Very beautiful. Yet, they must pump some horrendous room freshener throughout the lobby and it was hard to get over. The rooms were awful. The air conditioner is loud with only two settings (extremely hot/extremely cold). Even when set at cold throughout the night, it would be boiling in the morning. The beds are super hard with cheap linen, hard pillows and dirty blankets. Shower was a detachable head and the part where you would hook it up (so you didn't have to hold it) was broken. It would fall randomly and knock you in the head. Also the showers only have a tiny piece of glass to stop the water from going everywhere. This would cause the whole bathroom to be soaked after a short shower. The cleaning staff would knock on your door at 8:45am some days and if you weren't ready and out the door for them, too bad for you. Entertainment was hard to see, as the room was always packed with people. Forced to sit outside. From what I could see, I didn't miss out on much. Staff was completely uninterested in helping. I was always made to feel shame for asking a question, it was really discouraging. I resorted to asking the lady in the car rental place right outside the resort (she was so kind). Forget asking staff for help figuring out attractions or transportLastly, good luck eating. Eating area is so packed it's impossible to even see what is being served. No one stopped the children from grabbing things and shoving them into their mouths then taking it out and putting it back. Sitting at a tiny table, it was so loud I couldn't even talk to my husband. Food was baddrinks even worse. Horrible honeymoon experience. Highly recommend finding somewhere else to stay.

This hotel is nice and beautiful, I had a big room with pool and sea view, bathroom was good also. Area is green, the sea is very close but the send is black which is not nice, although water was clean. Staff of the hotel was friendly and helpfull, we liked water gymnastic but zumba in water is impossible to do, too fast.. Food in restaurant is the main problem in this hotel, very poor choice, they tried to make different tematic nights but food was always the same, just in different shapes, they had good desserts though) No steaks! There r some good bars close to the hotel where u can eat very tasty meet)
Night shows were funny sometimes, they really tried to do it good, but everything became quite after 22, all bars closed and nothing to do, around the hotel was same situation - just no places to go. I would recommend this hotel and place in general for families with kids or couples who prefer quite atmosphere at early night.response / report this review -

Very nice stuff which takes care of the kids. They play and tinker a lot with them. So you can relax and enjoy your holiday even more. The only thing which disturbed me was the cold water in the pool. It is not heated and you cannot just relax in the water.

Beautiful mediterranean style hotel right down at the beach. Big pool, fantastic buffet style dinner and friendly staff. Extra to pay for the underground garage and safe. We had an excellent time.

Resort not bad ,but cleaning room should be better,air conditioner in public place not working good seem like they try lower air to save money,not changing towels everyday.
