El Cid is a good hotel,friendly staff, nice breakfast however, it is very noisy. The walls are thin and you can hear other guests moving round. When rooms are being cleaned furniture is dragged along floors doors are constantly banging. For me this wasn't relaxing. If you are visiting take ear plugs !

Lovely stay the room was very nice , bed very comfortable and good size shower and bathroom . The breakfast had something for everyone from hot to cold food , juices or tea or coffee . The staff are always very friendly and helpful from the reception staff to the housekeeping staff . It's great location too makes it a very affordable pleasant place to spend a holiday

Stayed here for a week, overall comparing this hotel to others in the area and taking into consideration the price this is an amazing hotel which I cannot understand why it is 1 star! Our room was small but very clean and the balcony was private and caught the sun. I was surprised at how quiet the place was at night so there was no problem sleeping. The air con works a treat and whilst the bathroom is small the shower itself is big with loads of room. Included toiletries were better than some other hotels, the breakfast was far better than some 3 star hotels. Loads of spread, including hot food and fresh fruit (o and cava if you fancy a breakfast tipple!) The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel has some lovely touches going above what you expect from a 1 star - free fresh drinks provided in the lobby, juice and fresh lemon. The day you check out there is a storage room you have access to and the pool was lovely and stays in the sun throughout the day. Great location, great price, will definitely come here again. Wonderful hotel. Great service from staff from checking in to fantastic breakfast. We regularly stay at this hotel or one of the Sister hotels. They cannot be beaten for value and service. Fantastic large room with balcony overlooking the pool. Wonderful breakfast till 12 noon each day. Superb place and superb staff.

This place is a cozy, charming and a very clean vintage hotel. Bathrooms have been remodeled. Bedrooms are simple. Pool is great! Staff were friendly and helpful. Perfect location.

The hotel is clean and well located. Our room was compact but had everything we needed, with a good balcony overlooking the pool. The breakfast was plentiful and had several options.
