Great location right in the city center. Less the 5min walking from El Pilar cathedral. Everything's very new and clean. Breakfast buffet was delicious. I will stay in the same place if I return to Zaragoza.

Great location and clean, attractive rooms at the Hotel Catalonia El Pilar. I liked this hotel. It is nicely subdued and doesn't feel too much like a chain. The Front Desk people were kind and helpful. The breakfast was quite nice and varied enough for a stay of several days not to get tiresome, although it would have been totally cool if the cook (who was coming in and out) were making fried eggs and omelettes and pancakes on order at the station obviously made for that.
The double glazed windows proved very effective and much appreciated for soundproofing.
The prices (100€/nite is what we paid for a double room) are a bit high for Spain, though reasonable in comparison with other European cities.response / report this review -

Really beautiful place. Built into historical palace, it has all the accomodations and sercives needed. Near all the interesting places of Zaragoza and the city center
