Good hotel, food is abit basic there is plenty of it, good theme night in the restaurant. Air conditioning in the room in not very good at night time. Great value for money, fab sea views

Hi .. Just spent 10 days here with my wife , food is good bit of everything for all tastes , there is theme evenings with Chinese , Italian etc , everything was always fresh , As for the staff we found if you are polite with them they are always polite back to you , the rooms are kept clean every day , we where on the 8th floor with views of the mountains on one side and the sea on the other , and felt we had been so looked after by the maid on that floor we left her a nice box of chockys as a thanks for her help , there is a bus stop just outside the hotel on either side of the road for easy access to town or Malaga or Fuengirola

Extremely unfriendly reception stuff. They will not provide you any help, will not share any smile, even never say ''hallo''. The worst reception we ever saw. Ever.
Swimming pool is small, with a lot of sunbeds around.
Rooms are nice, large and clean. Food is great, with a lot of variety and great taste.
The sandy beach is not near and the city is around 2km away.response / report this review -

First of all , I found the Hotel to be very nice, but sadly the cracks began to appear, The staff I found ( Not All) but Most to be incredibly Rude, particularly the Reception Staff.
The Bar Staff also were rude to the point of being Obnoxious, although again there was the odd exception to the Rule.
The Breakfast Beans sausage etc was COLD.
The Spa Staff were A breath of Fresh Air especially Barbara.
Some guest appeared to be quite intimidating, ( believe me , I can stand my own corner) but I was on Holiday & not going to lower myself to their level, They were NOT English Or Dutch or Morrocan, I will leave you to decide.
Now I have always loved the Spanish People, But this Holiday, I really felt that we were NOT welcome, someone told me it was because of The Brexit I don't know, But I do know, if you are quite happy to take our Money !! then I think attitudes are going to have to change, or I for one will visit a country were I am WELCOME & I will Spend my Money elsewhere..

Its grand to lay the head down but its a place where you'll have to head out during the day as there's not much to do. If you do brave a day there, whatever you do.. Do NOT eat the food at the pool, microwaved burger and a small glass of coke is all they offer. Also at night you may forget about sleeping with the heat in the room (door open or closed, AC on or off doesn't matter, still hot). Spend the extra few Bob and stay in the Sunset beach.
