When we get sick on holiday its usually hard to find a good hospital, this hospital is PRIVATE but you can use your credit card or insurance. What is most useful about this hospital it has a 24 hour A&E so if you have an accident or need attention out of hours instead of a taxi ride to the Marbella main hospital which is at least 25 mins by taxi from Hospiten which is in Estepona, you are able to get treated here easily. I have used the hospital extensively and also used the A&E a few times. There is easy access for wheel chairs

A complete shambles - avoid at all costs. Turned up for an appointment at 3.40. The Doctor calls for the next patient using only their first name. He called 'Michael' at about 4.10 and 2 of us stood up He was looking at the other guy who walked straight in so, assuming that he must be the correct Michael I sat back down. At no stage did the Doctor clarify which Michael he wanted, despite the fact that 2 stood up.
After waiting a further 20 minutes I asked the receptionist how long it would be until my appointment and she told me I was next (a complete lie to fob me off).
I had an appointment elsewhere at 5pm and so, after waiting some more, I told the receptionist that I would have to reschedule the appointment. Only then did she contact the doctor when they both found out that the first 'Michael' was in fact someone who had jumped the queue. So the doctor had no idea who he was seeing quite possibly this other guy has now been added to my Hospiten notes.
If they can't even manage appointments then there's no way you should trust them with your health I certainly won't. They are completely incompetent and will lie to try to get rid of you.
Did they apologise at all? Of course not. I guess its all in a day's work for them.response / report this review -

The hospital seems to be nice, but we had to wait an hour even though we had an appointment, hence the low rating.

Una vergűenza. Sólo funciona recepción, una HORA Y MEDIA de espera en Urgencias. Las enfermeras con la doctor de risitas en la consulta y cuatro personas esperando en el boxer. La doctora conmigo estuve tres minutos y despues 15 minutos ma's de espera a las inyecciones. La SS es ma's ràpida, aqui no vuelvo.

Larga espera de 3 horas para el pediatra no importa si con cita o sin ella, ya que pasan a la única consulta de pediatría las entradas de urgencias y las citas concertadas. Sala de espera abarrotada con un solo pediatra que al parecer también es ginecólogo. Demasiada espera para aún hospital privado. En la seguridad social no se encuentran esperas tan largas para pediatría. Los que pagamos seguro aparte esperamos una mejor gestión y atención.

Posible cólico nefrítico y esperando en urgencias un buen rato para pasar, sobre 15 minutos. No lo veo adecuado. La atención médica recibida ha sido muy buena y adecuada. Agradable. Buen servicio médico y mejorable servicio recepción de urgencias.
