localizacion de 10 pero no es un hotel de 4 estrellas.. habitaciones pequeñas y algo cutres y el staff de recepcion muy mejorable. el desayuno esta bien. slds

I enjoyed my stay at Himàlaia Hotel a lot! The rooms are nice and the staff very friendly! The best part however was the fact that The Hotel staff helped me extraordinarily getting back my left behind bracelet. I realized that I left my bracelet in the room when I got back home. They organized everything so I received my bracelet some days later in Germany! Very helpful service as a bonus. Will return for sure!!

Excelente Hotel. Bonita decoración, con una sitaución inmejorable, a pié de pistas. El guarda esquíes justo debajo del telecabina, solo tienes que caminar 10 Metros. Un servicio excelente. Hemos estado en familia como en casa. Muy recomendable. Las habitaciones son algo pequeñas, pero confortables.
Incluso tiene guías para que esquíes con ellos y enseñarte los mejores lugares de la estación, sin coste.response / report this review -

ビュッフェ形式で前菜からデザートまで好きなだけ食べられます。
特に鉄板焼きは肉や海産物を焼きたてを提供してくれます。
部屋も広く、アメニティも充実しています。

The hotel is part of a large ski hotel complex built in 2009. The hotel lacks internet wifi and 3G access from our room. In the hallway you a get wifi access, barely! At the time of this review Google Maps has the map location wrong.
I am at the hotel now and the GPS Coordinates are as folllows N42.695098 E0.936614
It is located in a complex that only has three hotels in the following sequence from the Gondola Station: AC Hotel (Marriott), Hotel Val de Neu and then Hotel Himalaia. All three share a common gateway lobby that contains various ski shops, ski school and a Haagen Daz ice cream parlor that are not listed on maps. This gateway leads to the Gondola and the drop off baggage load/unload area for the AC and Val de Neu Hotels. Himalaia has its own area for reception load/unload baggage when you arrive/depart.
Ski Rental: Procenter Baqueira
Best Hotel Location: TUC Blanc because it has nightlife, better restaurants around it plus a grocery store across.
Transportation: NONE if you choose to stay outside of the main town of Vielha, bring a car because there are no taxis anywhere in Baqueira and ordering one will be very costly as they are dispatched from Vielha which is 8 miles away. This explains the massive 3 story parking complex below the 3 large hotels.
Best restaurant: In Solardu there is thr most exquisite restaurant where you will eat thr most authentic Basque dinnimg outside of San Sebastian. The restaurant is called Eth Bot and its location and decor plus its construction, history and the surrounding village is a must see. Google Maps has the wrong location for it so if you search for Restaurante Vinoteca Gris, Solardu (it is not in Tredos as Google Maps suggests) you will find it just ahead. Ample Parking is just past the Hostal Era Claverola.
Skiing in this place is absolutely amazing when snow conditions are good.
