The status quo is a complex term, being very open and subjective. We consider the state of something at an exact moment. One question would be: should we question our status quo? I think that reflecting on your condition is necessary to try to improve it, however does this leave us profitable? The question of the status quo is something that is done by man's desire to find happiness, however this has been changing throughout our history. In the Middle Ages, feudalism favored only the upper class, and when it developed in other directions, it was not the work of the most disadvantaged. For example, we would now think that living in the Middle Ages, questioning the status quo at that time, would be like suicide: almost not eating, facing deadly diseases, defending yourself from attacks However, many people were happy, because for them happiness was based on surviving, voting for a dance from time to time, and having a piece of stale bread to throw in their mouths. So why do we change our idea of happiness? With this we come to the conclusion that it is better not to question the status quo? I think not, it is good to question it, however if we come to the conclusion that we are fine, what will happen? You usually always find at least, something with which you are not satisfied, that if it were changed, we would be happier, as our instincts tell us. However, when do we consider that something must be changed to achieve this happiness? When Ferdinand VII came to the throne, people shouted: LONG LIVE THE CHAINS! Referring to the absolutism that Fernando VII had returned. This was shouted at by those who disliked him the most.
