Chicken poor taste like the rotisserie needs a good clean would not bother again
Food was good. Service very poor. Prepare to be ignored even if you are the only person in the restaurant (on a Friday night). Their card machine automatically converts to your home currency; staff claim that they don't know how to change the charge to EUR. A real shame.
This place surprised me. The chicken was excellent and so was the atmosphere. I'd go back.
We went in here today looking for a quick lunch for our hungry baby after flying in from London. Horrible experience from the moment we entered - hostile and unwelcoming waiting staff - until we walked out because we were sick of being ignored. They put us behind a curtain away from everyone else. When we asked for a menu they pointed with real attitude to some label on a wine bottle about a meal deal but we clearly saw them giving full menus to other patrons. Truly despicable experience!
Food was nothing spectacular, slow service and free wifi requires liking on Facebook
Just an okay place to eat some grilled chicken.
Not bad but there are really too many delicious places in this town..
I always eat on their Zona Villa Olympica branch. Last Saturday I ate in this branch. The Pollo de la Era tastes much better in the Zona Villa Olympica branch. Also got an additional 5 euros on my bill, good thing I saw it that I was overcharged. Not sure if it was deliberate or intentional. Just be careful when paying your bill because this is not new in Barcelona.
We had a menú del dia, I have chosen chicken broth, half a chicken and a plate of vegetables. The chicken was good, soft and flavoursome, but the way they cooked vegetables was disappointing. Grilled aubergines and peppers – usually among my favourites – here were undercooked and almost tasteless. Broth was OK. I recommend sticking to their speciality, pollos.
