Un sitio tranquilo para pasar el día con la familia o amigos. Además del increíble paraje que posee, hay parques infantiles para niños, piscina y barbacoas.

Unas vistas impresionantes desde allí, puedes aparcar fácilmente (cuando no hay fiesta) y luego para pasear, todo muy tranquilo.

A park in the countryside with barbecues
To get to the Pedregales park, you take the road towards Casares; it's actually marked "Casares por los caminos" at the roundabout on the A7 by the Estepona Industrial estate. You start by going down under the motorway, then after a few kilometres you come to the park on the right.
At the entrance there is a small chalet park, with a pool; these are rented out in the summer. There is a children's play-area, a very large barbecue area with tables and barbecue pits - watch out for warning signs forbidding fires, however, if there is a drought fire alert.
While I am on the subject of warnings, watch out for another sign warning about "procesionarias". These are the Pine Processionary Caterpillars whose hairy bodies can produce severe allergic reactions. Called processionary because they walk in processions, nose to tail. When they are about in the park (normally Easter-ish), they put up signs to remind you to watch out, especially with your dogs.
The park has sweet-smelling flowers planted near the entrance, but the rest of it is uncultivated, with local wildflowers in abundance. On a visit in May I counted over 20 different species. If you are keen on identifying the flowers instead of just counting them, you can order a book of Wildflowers of Southern Europe from Amazon.
You can walk past the dovecote and the little chapel and roam around on paths through the scrub and trees for quite some time, always with great views of the Sierra Bermeja behind you, and the sea below.
The little chapel is dedicated to San Isidro Labrador, and on his feast day in mid-May there is a Romería - a traditional pilgrimage - up to the park, with families bringing their sausages and pork chops (and wine, beer and Spanish omelettes!) for a picnic. A great occasion if you are around at that time!
The Corominas archaeological site is here in the park too.
But remember: October to May is the period to visit; you will wilt in the summer months.
