  I like the food & beer is very good. The staff are sometimes good & sometimes not so good. If they could sort that last issue out I would give it 5 stars.

  Always great food & amazing tasting freshly brewed beer with fantastic staff, helpful & efficient.
  Walk into the bar & enjoy the fresh smell of yeast & hops brewing in the huge vats behind the bar. Brewing their own beer, you can enjoy quality beer without any additives, just natural ingredients & the food´s out of this world. Freshly grilled meats & fish dishes, all tasting so good & at reasonable prices. It´s not my regular haunt for nothing!

  Great food, some unique flavours in the sausages and cured meats. Staff can be inattentive at times but they are friendly. Beer is fantastic and served nicely chilled. Overall a place I would visit again and again to try as much of the menu as possible.

  We have been going to the de basus restaurant for several years and the food and drink excellent. Portion sizes are generous and we have never had a poor meal. If you enjoy German beers their own is excellent, worth a visit especially when you are not driving!

  The food is OK but complicated to order, also happy hour had apparently finished by 2 minutes, and they didn't tell us until after the drinks had been ordered and paid for, then the waiter came out and asked for the money difference, especially amazing as we had been trying to get the waiters attention to order food earlier

  Hungry? Real good classic German home cooking. Own beer brewery in restaurant. Oompah oompah atmosphere for a great Saturday evening.

  Terrible service whenever I have been there but they do have the best pork knuckle and sausages. The beer and wine are not to my liking and there's no alternative to their own brews.

  Had a lovely evening. .great food, very attentive staff, despite being very busy nothing was too much trouble.
  The children's play area is a god send. You can relax and enjoy your meal while kids from all over the world find a common language in the ball pool.
