This massage is for Barbara and Sergio who I guess is the same case.
I am really sorry you had that impression. It is normally the auxiliary vet that hands back the pets.
I do not do the surgery, as it is all done by my colleague which is a very good surgeon. This is my honest opinion considering that I have worked in many practices and three different countries.
The reason why they do not need a collar is because we do not do stitches, but intradermal subcutaneous surgery, so if your other vet said that stitches where badly placed he/she just got it wrong or invented that as there were no stitches.
And that is the reason that they do not need a collar. Having said that. If they lick constantly the wound, it can open. I have had cats from other surgeries with the same problem. I never blamed another vet for that. It just ocassionally happens, even if you put a collar on, as they can use their nails as well. Sorry you have to experience that, and my apologies if I was not more clear when your pet was handed back.

Ni os preocupéis en venir/ do not bother coming here!!

Dejamos a nuestra gatita de 5 meses para esteririzarla. Cuando fuimos a recogerla la recepcionista (muy poco profesional y desagradable) nos da la factura ya gata en su transportintoda con vómito.sin ninguna explicación de como fue la operación. Lo peor es que cuando la preguntamos que tal todo. Ella responde "Pues nada que decir, una operación". Nos la dieron sin collarín así que se arrancó los puntos y se le abrió la herida. Por supuesto la llevamos a otro veterinario para arreglarla.
Pasión para los animales es "0" profesionalidad "0" y si me lo pienso más les denunciaria por maltrato animal.

Nada más que decir. Haced cambios o cerrad. Pero no podéis ser veterinarios sin ningún amor ni preocupación por los animales.

DO NOT GO HERE - They sterilised my 5 month old kitten, no information or care whatsoever given. veterinarian was surprised when i wanted to see him and shake his hand. I asked for post operation information and he said "not much to tell" (Rubén), two days later her stitches came loose. Another operation necessary as he did not recommend a collar and they were placed wrongly (went to a vet who actually cares). Cat treated like a product. I repeat do NOT go.
