Worth the wait if there's a queue to get some delicious churros or porras (the thick more doughy ones - our favourite) with thick, rich hot chocolate. €4 for one portion to share is more than enough for an after dinner treat. Photos of famous guests are a nice touch in downstairs seating area.

Chocolate con churros available 24 hours a day; absolutely perfect to start your day or to end it after a night out. The interior is quite traditionally furnished with quite a lot of seating. The cafe is situated in quite a charming alleyway so if you do have to sit outside when the cafe is busy you'll not feel too put out. Most of the tables outside have heaters as well for those winter nights.
The churros were light and not too greasy and the chocolate was delicious. Order your food, take a seat and the waiter will come and collect your receipt before delivering your order. Service was speedy.

One of the best places to get churros in all of Spain and definitely my favorite in Madrid. The churros are always hot and fresh and they do a great job on the chocolate. The location is tucked back just a block from Sol, so somewhat off the main path, but very easy to get to. Always one of my first stops when I arrive in Madrid

It's not just the superb "churros" with chocolate that make this place as special as it is, it is the little slice of authentic life in late-night Madrid that goes naturally with it; this place oozes atmosphere that is beyond price. I visited each night I was in the area and would recommend everyone try it.
Inexpensive, quality offerings, hard-working staff. 5 stars! 😊
Why can't all cities have somewhere like this? 🤔

Fantastic food and Service! Churros is the best in Madrid and great value. The staff are very friendly and do not hassle you to go in as in other places. They also gave food to the needy and are overall a fantastic company that i would recommend to anyone.

Best Churros I've ever had! The ambiance of the place is just amazing. Its a 24 hr outlet, but will have people in it no matter the time of the day. Strongly recommended to anyone who's going to Madrid.

University teaching daily courses in chocolate con churros and customer service.

Very crowded during peak hours, when all the Northern European tourists come. The service is very efficient in processing orders and can seem brisk. Later you can stay seated as long as you want.

This place has been open for years and goes on 24/7 everytime I visit I'm afraid it would be ruined due to its popularity but it never happens. Very good prices and the chocolate and churros is amazing. Although you might see a queue don't worry, they are well organized and it's fast ;)

Amazing chocolate and churros. Get the thick ones! They're better than the small regular ones. Also, you have ask for chocolate as it is not included in the single order. You can pay at the entrance and head downstairs to get a table. Waiting time was less than 6 minutes on a Sunday noon.

Get those 6 churros with hot chocolate! Order at the register and sit down. Give your receipt to a waiter and he'll bring you the goodies. The churros were surprisingly good (I usually think they're too fried or too sweet) and went great with the hot chocolate. The hot chocolate by itself was not good though, I couldn't drink it by itself. Their fresh squeezed orange juice was pretty good. Don't expect good customer service here. Very quick though.
