Simply fantastic, only place to go if you want to get endorphins from your food. Would give it 6 stars if I could. Have been there more than once, never disappointed.

Small place with terrific food. A must try is their lollipops! It has a cool vibe happening. Great place for lunch.

Best tapas I've had hands down. It's a really quaint small place, almost a hole in the wall. Ambience was unique, food had wonderful flavours that were well balanced. Service was attentive and the staff made great recommendations. Definitely would recommend anyone visiting Alicante to visit this place!

Incredible.
This small but busy place has one of the best tapas I've ever had.
The ambience was loud but cozy, the staff was very attentive and familiar and specially fast while serving the food.
We had no idea what to ask for so they asked us about how hungry we were and recommended us plates, explaining to us what they were.
The food was delicious, but I highly recommend one tapa called "the lollipop".response / report this review -

Real spanish tapas taken to a new level. Very friendly staff. Do not expect tables or waiters. This is the truly spanish bar experience. You will need to stand up drinking and eating. If there's no space inside you will need to be outside in the street and oder the food and drinks through the window. It can get loud and busy, but that's the way spanish bars are. I totally recommend this place if you want to mix with spaniards and get to know more of the spanish culture.

Placed in a lateral cross OF the Rambla and in the center, there is this small little place where you eat on the "BARRA" if you are lucky, if not standing. I really liked everything from beer to dishes all tasty and well cooked. Tapas excellent and fast service. Moderate prices. obligatory stop

Fantastic gem in the heart of Alicante; the place can be quite busy but it definitely helps with the atmosphere. Food is superb and, if you are not really sure about what you would like to get, you can ask for advice and the waiters will be delighted to help you!

Best tapas in Alicante. Price is very reasonable. I recommend this restaurant to everyone, you won't regret trying to eat in this place.
