Absolutely gorgeous! We spent two hours there of our busy schedules visiting Barcelona. Highly recommend!

A Roman Catholic Church started building in 1298 then last centuries to complete and improve to its perfection of 90x40x53 meters in beautiful Gothic style.

Enjoyed the peaceful vibes along the courtyard, terrace, sculptures, plants and definitely the lovely white geese (13 in total) in the pond.

Beautiful cathedral, worth a visit if you’re in town and if you’re into architecture/are religious. I am neither but went there because I was with my family. FYI there is wheelchair access, just not through the main entrance. Ask someone at the main entrance for directions and they will help you. People with reduced mobility get in free too.

Absolutely beautiful cathedral. I loved the whole Gothic quarter. So many places to eat and drink. We enjoyed this whole area when we were on vacation in Barcelona from the USA. Amazing people and architecture. This cathedral was very packed with tourist hardly room to walk so might want to check popular times on their website .

Huge and very beautiful cathedral with an amazing facade and it is unbelievably big inside as well. It's free to visit and it's well worth the wait, if you have to. Usually a bit crowded but it's so spacious inside that you almost don't notice it

Beautiful cathedral. Rich history behind its existence. Free between 8-12 and after 5pm. Otherwise 7 Euros for adults and children have free entry. It’s best to visit the place with. Guide as they talk you through the timeline of changes:

Worth the €7 entry, it's an impressive space inside and take a trip to the roof for a good view of the city - though there was some construction going on when we were there in early December 2017. There's a small museum off the cloister and an enclosure where 13 geese are kept, who are just generally hilarious to watch for some reason. A giant nativity scene takes up the centre of the cloister during late November and early December.

Remember this is a church, no bare shoulder and shorts, cover them up or you can't enter.

The court yard during the weekend is packed and full of activities. We watched the human tower being built! We also use Rick Steves free audio tour to learn about this church and it’s surrounding areas.

Absolutely grand. I got an opportunity to attend the mass. The interiors are breathtaking and it is quite well managed. The place around is also serene but colorful, and nice for spending a few hours.

Cathedral itself is ofcourse really really beautiful and a must see. But man the surroundings are pretty? The streets around the cathedral give a true vibe of Spain, and are breathtakingly magical. If you are a fan of midieval era, this place is the best to imagine all the past times. I think when in Barcelona, you should just walk around in all the streets after it gets dark.

You can visit the cathedral for free at certain time slots, else you pay 7 euros. It was free between 5:30pm-7:30pm, dress code strictly enforced- my wife had to buy a shawl outside the cathedral to wrap around so her knees won't be seen. Otherwise beautiful cathedral from inside and outside. We were also lucky to witness 'sardanes' (traditional Dance of Catalonia with live music) in the evening after our visit.

Cathedral of Barcelona, Gaudi designed cathedral in Gothic quarter of Barcelona. Good views and worth a visit. It has 7€ entry fee. Dress appropriately as it is a cathedral and the deny entry for visitors with open shoulders and micro mini skirts or shorts. Knee length shorts should be ok. The tickets also gets you the lift to terrace tower to get a good view of the city.

Go early and you will probably enjoy it more, in the afternoons you have to pay to get in, there is also a beautiful cloister with some geese. Great place to relax when it isn't overrun with tourists.

Beautiful building with amazing architecture and imagery. You need to have your shoulders covered and have longer shorts/skirts on to enter. On Sunday it costs 7 euros to go in but it's free the other days. You can also pay 3 euro to go on top of the roof! I've attached some pictures of those views. It was definitely worth it for 3 euros.
