A must visit if coming to Granada! Beautiful catholic church with lots of history behind The entry ticket includes the audio guide and I would recomment to take time and go through each and every section and chapels of the church as the history behind each of these is elaborately explained in many different languages to choose from.. The architecture is gorgeous inside with beautiful carvings, paintings, statues and organ pipes. There is ofcourse a souvenir store within the church
I was not impressed. I was actually annoyed by the audioguide. No worries if you are in a hurry and need to skip it
Nice example of a baroque catherdal. The audio guide was helpful.
Amazing cathedral. The very reasonable €5 entry fee gets you a multi-language handset which guides you through your visit. Definitely a must-see while in Granada.
The Cathedral of Granada is an absolute “MUST SEE” in the city. It is huge and very beautiful. Occupying a big space between few streets it surprises visitors with variety of architectural styles and decorative elements. Each part of the Cathedral reflects the historical period when it was built. The Cathedral is tightly surrounded by very narrow and cozy streets inviting to wonder around. And this is a best thing to do after admiring the beauty of the Cathedral.
Must visit site, they provide free guide to help people understand the history of church.
A beatiful catedrale. There are audioguides and lots of paintings.
Not my favourite cathedral but still quite stunning. Full of light inside, beautiful organs and altar. Not at all what you'd expect it to look like from the outside.
Had a great time. Firstly 5€ entry is great value and includes audio guide. The Church is very light unlike some Gothic cathedrals which can feel oppressive. The nave is very plain but provides a contrast with the side chapels which are incredibly colourful and full of interest. I found the experience uplifting and would definitely recommend it.
You must definitely go and see it! It's beautiful on the outside and the inside also. I recommend a night walk around the cathedral also, when there are no tourists and you can take a better look around.
