Precioso castillo medieval aún hoy habitado por su dueños. Se puede visitar por un precio muy económico. La visita recorre gran parte del castillo con un guía que explica como se vivía en la época y da muchos detalles y curiosidades sobre el castillo. Muy recomendable ir si se puede de noche con las antorchas.

Este castillo parece de fuera no ser muy grande. Pero cuando entras y con la visita guiada que vale 4.80€, (que es muy economía). Te enseñan que es lo contrario es grande.
Recomiendo que entréis y hagáis la visita. El guía la hace muy amena y muy bien explicada.
Nosotros cuando la hicimos nos dejo muy sorprendidos con todo lo que había y si hay suerte alguna vez sale el señor del castillo que a un esta habitado y saluda a los visitantes.

You do not get anything more authentic than this castle. The hiers of the founders still live here (1209 AD) and they have kept most of the visitable rooms similar as they were in the middle ages. Do not expect spectacular rooms or a trustworthy museum, this visit is about a contemporary noble family castle.

The staff is friendly but somehow unorthodox, very charming in my humble opinion.

The castle is managed by lazy people. Went there on Jan. 8th for the 6pm guided tour. My family was denied entry because, literally: "there was a group scheduled but they canceled, so since it's one of these days, we decided to tidy up the castle".

I am not really sure what they meant by "one of these days" but we drove from afar for the visit and didn't see nobody "tidying up" the castle so we requested a complaint form -to be filed with the local business bureau-. Oddly enough, they gave us the runaround telling us they couldn't find the paperwork.

While they were pretending to be searching the forms, I mentioned we had a long drive to the castle and were willing to pay 20-30 EUR per person, so being denied entry was harsh. When the receptionist's heard the amounts, her eyes opened up and told us she could get us a tour guide and enter the castle in a few minutes Unbelievable but true. Hearing this only made us more irate. We demanded the document and promptly filled it out and filed it with the local business bureau branch.

In a nutshell, be willing to be looked after by rude people and/or denied entry just because. I am sure they get substantial subsidies from the government so I guess that's why they don't care about getting customers.
