Great restaurant with relation to both food and service. I went with my family when they visited me from Italy and everyone loved it: the food was great, with an amazing paella and smoked salmon that reminded me of the smell of the stove in my cousins' house in the mountains. The waiters were very friendly, always smiling and present whenever we needed them, and the owned personally came to speak to us, showed the kitchen and explained the history of the restaurant. This is definetly joining the list of restaurants we visit regularly.

I visited this place to eat amazing paella even after I had lunch somewhere else. Paella tastes like heaven even though my stomach was half full. Servers were very polite and hospitable.
I would like to visit this place once again with my family or friend. Love this place

The place is somewhere not in tourist area and we took taxi from central Madrid costed about 15 euro. It is open at 9pm so we arrived at 8:45pm. No wait, the waiter was very nice to accept us. The decor inside is literally quite homme feel and very artistic. We were offered bread, some traditional Spanish tomato soup and homemade olive oil to begin with. We ordered 2 starters and 2 different of 1 and 1/2 portions paella as the waiter recommended. The way they cook paella is different than other as seen in pictures. The salmon was cooked for 6 min and that's why still uncooked inside which I like it. We got some cookies with dipping chocolate melt as complimentary. Truly the recommendation was honor and reasonable. Just personal opinion that both paella were little salty for me but overall is good. The son of the owner came to greet every table and willing to answer all the questions. We took pictures with the owner and her son on the way out when we met them. The owner is a very sophisticated and beautiful lady. The son is actually a musician, a singer and he gave my husband his own CD as he knew my hubby sings too. The total experience is fantastic. Highly recommended.

THE FOOD: excellent! In the beginning one gets bread with olive oil, vinegar, olives, vegetables with guacamole and gazpacho (all included in the 6 euros per person). Our two paellas were very good. Notice that the seafood paella is made out of crunchy Yasmin rice which is a speciality of this restaurant.

THE SERVICE: excellent!

THE PRICE: ~150€ for 4 persons

The BEST paella in Madrid!! The restaurant is a hidden gem I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for AMAZING food accompanied by good service and atmosphere. We showed up at about 10 and didn't have reservation, but they staff welcomed us with open arms (regardless of being American tourists). They even invited us into the kitchen to meet the staff and see the paella being cooked. We were served the smoked salmon appetizer as a complimentary starter, which was just as outstanding as the seafood paella and finished with some traditional churro and chocolate sauce desert. Definitely an experience my husband and I will never forget!!

Really amazing paella. The service is also very nice and friendly. They have great food recs and also suggested us the perfect portion for dishes. Smoked salmon starter is a must. It's in a quiet street a little hard to find. Look for a heavy wooden door and signs above the doors. Reservation recommended.

It was a cozy evening with friends, a place that's homey, feeling you are cordially invited to dine next. We were specially treated by the staff, especially the Head, Eduard. They gave us a 'tour de force' welcome to feel at ease. 'It's where your heart stays', showing us a 'cordon bleu' prowess. It was splendid, you are in the right place.. Great to be there! The food was meaty, great to have more servings.. The dish was a gastronomic delight..

Definitely the best paella I have ever had. The restaurant located in a residential alley and you need to really push the door even it not seems like open. I almost missed it. Really delicate fine restaurant. AMAZING food!!! Edwardo was super friendly and gave us the best recommendation. We had the "best in house" salmon, tuna salad and seafood paella. Way too full to fill in any dessert or coffee. The price is very reasonable. It's a "must" recommendation from me!

The best patella.. pretty much same thing as paella. I'm from Spain. I had the seafood and the vegetable and both had incredible flavors. Get one for each person. Delicious! You won't regret it!
