  Too pricy for the quality that you get. Portions too small, defensively not worth it.

  The food is decent at best, there are better options for mexican in Barcelona.
  
  But NEVER book a table here through The Fork, they will tell you "it's a mistake of the app" and won't apply the discount.

  The staff is really nice, the place is pleasant, but the food is boring and on top of that it is pretty overpriced I wouldn't recommend it.

  It was my worst enchillada ever
  The nachos was oily
  It was almost 20 euros (with a coke) and I couldn't eat
  The restaurant is beautiful, the chairs not comfortable

  RESTAURANT REVIEW
  
  Anyone who's been reading my reviews will know from my London experience I like to have a good portion, service and price. That's not to say I don't mind paying for something which is tasty.
  
  I've not yet come across my perfect Mexican Restaurant here in Barcelona. These restaurants are classified as following:
  
  1. Honest food
  2. Tex Mex - focusing on popular recipies using number 1 as a reference
  3. Tex Mex Americana - fast food
  4. Nouveau Cuisine
  
  This place fits in as a number 2. Ironically. It's in the same league as Sabor Mexicana, which I would recommend more as their prices are a lot better.
  
  The service here is quite good. We got served fast, but the waiter did actually serve other people before us and we had been waiting longer.
  
  The menu is ALL in Catalan and not in Spanish. It would be good to have a section for vegetarians as some of the descriptions are a bit misleading.
  
  I like to taste the cheese in my meal. The cheese portion on the starter and main was in a word stingy. I could not taste nor find it inside. Plus, it's a mozerella cheese, that has little or no taste and it is not indeginous to Mexico!
  
  What we ordered. We ordered 2 cupas of mexican beer. This was nice, but there again so was the price €2.90 per cup of 33cl.
  
  The waiter put down some plain nachos which were nice, but they were not handmade. There was also a salsa, that was handmade but it wasn't hot. My ppartner said it was, but I think it was hot for spanish people. Bottom line, it had some black pepper and a few chilli seeds in it. There was no feeling of heat in the salsa.
  
  We ordered some potato dish with cheese. When it arrived, it tasted like a LOT of bread with a bit of potato and the texture of English Stuffing. There was a sprinkling of cheese. Luckily the beer takes away the taste.
  
  We next ordered tortillas. Mine was filled with black beans and something with cheese. The beans were nice, but only ONE tortilla came for €7.90! It might had been better to go with the quesedilla €3.90.
  
  When this dish arrived we had some more tortillas put on the table to eat the starter. But, with the salsa on the table it wasn't enough not to get the word - you're eating english stuffing out of my head.
  
  All in all, we had 2 beers, 2 mains and a starter. It came to 30€. Although I was not hungry, this was due to my high blood sugar before I went in the place. Saying that, later I was hungry.
  
  My advice, it's not a bad place but the food is plain, boring and dull.
