Horrible service. We looked at the counter prior to sitting and ordering. Our waiter came back to reconfirm our order - 2 croissants twice. We still didnt receive our order until I went inside to find our waiter. The pastries we're at this running low and he offerred us different pastries. I had to go to the counter and point out the croissants. All this while we had a hungry toddler screaming for food. I would never recommend this. It looks like a quick touristy spot but it's actually a tourist trap. Subpar food, horrible service, and high prices. Tables next to us would have a bite of a sandwoch and then leave the rest of the food uneaten - its that bad.

In the Heart Of Barcelona perfect to meet perfect to start shopping tour, bar hopping or just have a beer and watch people love it

Absolutely awful service. It seems as if everyone there hates their job. Prices are reasonable but you can only pay cash. They are not busy, however, they will serve as slow as possible. Our table inside the restaurant was never waited,, we had to go to the counter and even then they did not want to serve. It seems as though they only want to serve Spanish speakers. It's quite a shame because we offer better tips and Barcelona is a tourist destination.

Café Zurich is a "textbook" (literally was met in textbooks) example of an iconic place of Barcelona. What's in reality? Horrible service, very slow officiants, basic level of the food. When you ask for hot milk in you coffee you shall not expect the milk be hot.
Resume: as a result zero popularity between local gay Public.

Good as a meeting point as everybody finds it very easily due to its location. All the rest is average.

Great location on the sunny side of the square for coffee and people watching. Pity about the rude service and average food.
