Not to be missed if you are traveling from Madrid to San Sebestian which is what I did. A good rest stop after 2 plus hours drive from Madrid.
Spent around 1 plus hours admiring the detailed craftsmanship. Every sculpture is a intricate piece of art. There’s a lot more to see but it’s a pity I have limited time.

Absolutely amazing structure and detail. Embodies all the most flagrant excesses of Catholicism. More museum than church. Cannot be missed. You get a phone that guides you around and explains everything. Made me want to cry thinking of all the money these kings and bishops wasted on their self-indulgence instead of in taking care if the welfare if the less privileged.

Very interesting architecture, highly detailed and adorned inside. The additional side buildings and garden a surprise too. Good audio guide included with entry fee, discounted for Camino pilgrims. Well worth taking in.
