Very nice paella also local people are coming which is always a good sign
We came here for Paella. The seafood paella was really good. They gave sweet wine and dry fruits as a gift at the end of our meal. However, they messed up the dessert. We ordered souffle and the flambé apple crepe. Instead of flambéing the crepe, they flambéed the souffle. The souffle also didn't resemble a normal souffle. They charged for bread, €2.50 and claimed that it was service charge.
Reasonably good paella but definitely not the best. Caution: they leave bread on the table when they seat you and charge €2.75 apiece. If you do not want to please ask him to remove it and make sure that you're not charged for it but they will you don't.
I've been coming here my whole life. The staff is amazing and there's a wide variety of paellas to choose from
Looking for a place with good paella and based on various recommendations on the internet, we ended up here. The restaurant is a bit tucked away in an area far away from the center. The interior is nothing special, nor is the service, adequate at the most. There is an English menu and dietary accommodations. The food however is pretty average and does not live up to the prices they ask for it. It does come in big volumes and with plenty of extras at the end. It's an old school approach of a restaurant and if you feel like having a special evening, there is better elsewhere.
The shrimp exquisite. From the paellas, I loved the vegetables ones. Nice familiar place. To lunch for the whole afternoon.
Food and ambiance is good. Nothing special though. though the paella that we had was alittle bit salty and the place is expensive as the paella is charged per person and vat is not included(afaik it should be illegal)
Free appetizer and fruit dessert is nice though.
Service was perfect and the food was amazing. Never had a better paella anywhere in the world. If you are in Madrid then this place is a must!!
Recommended to me by a local. The service was wonderful, the seafood paella was delicious, but what was most memorable half a year later were the vegetables a la plancha.
Amazing paella and waiting staff. I also love the old fashion look, brought me back to 1985.
