Quiet location, ok breakfast, old construction, friendly staff, close the L3 (green) metro line.
Paper thin Walls can hear everything next door right now. Curtain nearly fall from ceiling. Phone not work. Bed is nice
Hotel location was great, close to the metro station and hop on and hop off bus route. Hotel was average, I would rate it a 3 star. Room size was small, AC was not working properly, lifts are old, break fast was average. Receptionists were very helpful.
The main ideea: hugely overpriced, severily underdelivered. Staff ( with one exception) is condescending, unhelpful, could not speak English to save their life. Even in spanish ( my SO speaks spanish), they give little to no useful information. I had to wait 2 hours to check in, although I saw other people checking in in front of me, and when asked, said that the room is not ready. Oh, the rooms! They need to renovate sooo bad. Army beds, old doors that do not close and the bathroom is very small and dirty.
Overall ok. The door to the neighbour room meant that I could quite easily hear the TV. My room was also facing the main road, which mean that from 7am forwards the traffic noise was an issue. Staff were friendly, breakfast was nice with plentiful eggs, cold cuts and fruits.
Friendly and great service,
convenient transportation.👍
Nice hotel close to a metro station. Rooms are nice with good space and wooden floor. However couldn't find the air condition and mattress was a bit hard.
We loved this hotel. It is small enough to feel intimate without feeling claustrophobic. We loved staying in a more residential neighborhood. It was an easy walk to the University of Barcelona Law School, where we were studying, shops and restaurants. Lovely breakfast.
Rooms are ok, but overall, it is in need of a renovation. Close to the MWC Congress
