Good facilities, modern look. Very little genuine Spanish stuff. Food horribly overpriced, the usual cosmopolitan chains.

My experience with this airport is that even though it has all the shops and convenience of a major airport. As not so busy, it is still such a charming and quiet Airport it almost feels like I'm flying private. Compare that to Gatwick and you see why I said that.

Poor poor poor. I am flying often. My family living in Alicante. So: Long waiting for luggage delivery. They does not deliver kids stroller so we have to walk all 400 meters with kid and bag. Last time they delivered stroller dirty and with luggage, not on separate belt. Air conditions working poorly. No air cons in the busses. Poor boarding process. This is not airport but piece of something.

Left my jacket on the airplane and the ground personnel got it for me while cleaning and I was able to get it quick. The friendliest staff!

Just come back off holiday and my child had special assistance booked. Outstanding service. Everyone (staff) really friendly and helpful and make the experience of tackling the airport less stressful.

Great disability services most of the time, although I have been forgotten about twice over the past couple of years.
Avoid Dickmanns car hire and the new OK Car Hire company. OK appear to be cheap BUT, if the car breaks down YOU have to pay €250 for the breakdown truck and also have to pay around €75 to vacuum the car if you get sand in it.
Also, unlike ALL other hire companies that I've ever used, they will mark down every single scratch/mark on the vehicle, even stone chips, which you have to pay for !
Dickmanns claim to have "Out Of Hours Emergency Breakdown Cover". I had a vehicle from them 18 months ago. On traveling to the airport at 0300 hours from the Murcia Region, the vehicle broke down. I tried over 100 times to contact them but no answer !
Eventually when I did get someone, over 2 hours later, they told me that the Emergency number didn't work any longer as it was disconnected.
I managed to get the vehicle going again myself, but by that time I'd missed my flight !
Needless to say, Dickmanns couldn't find anything wrong with the car when I tried to claim my added expenses from them !!response / report this review -

Large airport with an array of overpriced shops although good bargains to be had in duty free! The toilets before passing security were awful but fine once in departures! Security really isn't as strong as it should be though it was a bit scary, the man in security had a bag in his Hand that the machine had flagged up he asked us numerous times if it were ours which it wasn't and nobody else claimed it for some time surely a red flag should have gone up there?? And my female friend was given a boarding pass with the wrong details on and didn't struggle once throughout the whole airport!

A large airport but well designed. Cheap on airport covered parking at €33 per week. A new Costa Coffee at Departures handy as a meeting pin for arriving family/friends. Located just outside the terminal building on the very top floor. BarCode check-in

Amazing Airport! Modern and friendly staff. Only an hour to popular resorts like Benidorm. It's big so very popular to holiday makers. Would recommend over Valencia and Murcia San-Javier
