  Such a beautiful castle with a fairy-tale like fascade. Make sure to get a tour around the castle because there are many places to see and the view from atop is amazing

  Way too crowded for December! However, if you do go inside you'll encounter beautiful ornate ceilings in every room and some nice tapestries as well as remnants of Arabic architecture and style. Easily an hour visit if going solo.

  If you like medieval castles, this is the one to see. Although this is a rebuilt castle, you will see the history that comes with the display and the restoration of the structures. There were remnants of the original tiles and some portions of the original walls but if you open your imagination you will be transported to the bygone era when the King and Queen runs the show more or less. There was a bit of historical connection with King Philip and the Philippines. It was nice when the tour guide mentioned it. It made my history courses from long ago come alive. The view of the surrounding vistas is breathtaking. The intrigue and stories relayed by the guide about the "crazy queen" and the mysterious death of a young prince added some showbiz interest to the site. A glimpse of the everyday life during those times even for the royalty was interesting- (referring to the hole on the floor over the river for a toilet for the royalty to use). On a more touristy note, I am glad to see the armory, paintings as well as the over all restoration of the castle, complete with a moat. This is a a must see in Segovia.

  What a beautiful castle. No wonder it was the inspiration for Walt Disney's castle. The audio guide brought out the history of the place. I recommend you also climb to the top of the tower for a great view of Segovia and its surrounds.

  The castle is alright, nothing too spectacular about it. Not much to see in it, much better tourist attractions in Spain.

  i like the castle and they provide wifi at the ticket buying place.

  I recently visited this site and was blown away by its location and beauty. It is a beautifully preserved and restored castle. It even has a moat! The inside is full of artifacts, art, and architectural spendors. Don't miss this castle if you are in or around Segovia! The views from its high widows are inforgettable.
