WARNING!!!! THIS HOSTEL ALLOWS NON-PILGRIM DRUG ADDICTS AND THIEVES. SECURITY CAMERAS IN HOSTEL ARE FAKE. DO NOT STAY HERE. Approximately 7 phones and other electronic items worth over $4000 were stolen from various rooms on October 5 2017. When the victims reported the incident to the hostel and police, we discovered that a known drug addict who lives in Logrono had been staying at the hostel for a week, and that he had taken our phones while we were sleeping and disappeared. The hostel management knew that this man was trouble and was going to be kicked out for nonpayment the next day, but did not warn any of the Santiago pilgrims staying there. When the police arrived to take our report, we learned that the man was a known thief and drug addict in Logrono whose mother paid for him to stay at the hostel. We also learned that the security cameras that are located in the ceiling of the common area rooms are fake and did not record anything. Also, the hostel does not take the name and passport number of all guests, so there is not a good record of who stays at the albergue.

They let me stay for free like everyone else even if they were full. They did a community dinner and it was enjoyable

Not a good choice if you want to sleep although really cheap. No sheets, no place to leave your things while you visit the city. Shady bathrooms.

Booked a private room for 2 in this Albergue, something you wouldn't expect to do. Had injury so asked to extend for another night, no problem. Friendly young staff. Own bathroom which was good, and windows in mini balcony area for a breeze. Washer and dryer. Never ate there, as too many options for dinner in the local streets. Pinchos bars were amazing, then all closed Monday night! Groovy yet slightly bizarre town.

Newer Albergue option along the Camino in a very large historic building. Very modern industrial feel to much of the facility. Laundry machines on the upper level. Two rooms full of bunks downstairs with a very larger room full of bunks upstairs. Large sitting area with a small kitchen downstairs. Charging stations on the wall, but the locking feature was not working when I stayed there. Also had issues during my stay with toilets being out of order and/or running out of toilet paper.
