Pros: Good place for shopping , eating , taking coffee .
Cons: you should negotiate prices with sellers . they don't have fixed prices

It is always great to visit old traditional markets and this one cant be missed. You can find lots of traditional restaurants and many outlets where you can buy souvenirs dont forget always negotiate the price and if you are good enough you can have them by half the price or even less!

The old market is a great place! If you like to haggle about the price (which you should ALWAYS do) you can get a lot of goods here for next to nothing. The vibe here is amazing it feels very much like a local bazaar or something. I would definitely go here again.

What to day, well This is a tough one.
On one hand very nice atmosphere, and feeling of an old market and culture, but on the other hand, salesman of the small stores are UNBEARABLE! SOOOO pushy and very much in your face. I like Nama Bay much better.

Old place with many markets you shall be carful woth prices you can get it wau cheaper by arguments about prices also has a very fine restaurants one for fish called al Fares and one for Egyptian food called Al Masreen both are good and clean

Nice place to shop and buy souvenirs. Cotton products are good quality and well priced. Leather products are somehow expensive. This is a place you should visit while in Sharm El-shiekh.

There's no doubt you can find cheapest souvenirs elsewhere in Sharm. Cheapest doesn't mean authentic or at least somewhat authentic. Things here like the whole Sharm has not really much to Egyptian culture. But if you need to bring home those fancy magnets, beduins tea or some saffron it's a place for you.
Haggle. If you are already, continue haggling. The things are regularly overpriced 3-4 times. The worst price for your trading process should be the price which you pay in your country for the same stuff. If you feel it's a strange price — it's. The sellers will find out the most sweetest stories you to buy a stuff at their place. Haggle until the last point, be strong and don't let be tricked: shake the hand and sound your last price — don't let them do this for you. Whatever you buy or service you use, no one harm you. This is kinda a strongest no-no for them!
