It is Starbucks!!!
The nearest one to me.
Friendly stuff
Starbucks itself isn't bad (the usual tasteless coffee, except in Egypt it's more milky) but majority of the Egyptian public have no idea how to be civilised and lack basic social skills.
My sister and I arrived (my sister is 6 months pregnant) there was a couple sitting on a table with 2 extra chairs, another lady sitting alone with 2 extra chairs and a single lady who had 1 extra chair, the other she used to put her bag on.
Out of all of these 2 groups we interacted with none would give up a seat even though they were not occupied. I have visited Egypt multiple times and this is pretty much the norm unless you're in a tourist area like Sharm El Sheik. One of my favourite things about travelling is getting to see how the real people live away from all those tourist locations. It's sad to know that most Egyptians lack basic manners and common sense.
PS attached is a pic of the individual who blatantly refused to give up a spare chair even though he wasn't using it.
