Un-refurbished version of a 1980's era coffee shop. Good place to get an espresso or cappuccino on 26th of July street. The morning crowd is a bunch of old former power brokers talking politics.
I remove one star because their service at night is bad and they twice tried to rip me off by double charging me.response / report this review -

Have been here regularly in 30 years. A mess in that particularly egyptian way (don't improve, please). Very good coffee and croissants. Interesting people watching. Nice place. Good ambience.
