It a gritty roof top bar with a great view serving local beer and food. The Um Ali was surprisingly good!

I read the other reviews and decided to find out for myself about this place. To be honest, I liked it and can confirm that the view of the Nile is pretty awesome. With regards to service, it is not unreasonable as long as you understand that the staff operate on 'egyptian' time; Yes it took time for my Stella egyptian lager to arrive, so what ? When the Stella was not arriving all I had to do was look over at the head waiter and smile in a thirsty way : then it showed up. Actually I also enjoyed that his place is pretty laid back and has a good balance between locals and foreigners. Will definitely drop in again next time in Zamalek.

Not recommended Well I will summarize
Cover charge 70 EGP. View is over Nile. Place is old, nasty dirty and dust is everywhere. The guy setting next to me was smoking weed.
When we enter the place all waiters looked to us like we came from different world. Waiters are rude nasty and no manners at all.

Their view is incredible and you can have a drink by the Nile, but that's about it here. It takes time to get the staff to pay attention to you, the food is not exactly a must-have and the fact that they still implement a minimum charge per person is ridiculous. Yay for the view, meh for the place.

Great view of the Nile, cheap beer and great sheesha. Good atmosphere. Lots of locals and foreigners. A little difficult to find, enter through the hotel lobby.
