Nice and clean rooms, but without plate and spoon. Swimming pool is good. staff is very helpful :)

Very good rooms, resturant was under renovation, new rooms where being constructed, a lot of varieties in restaurants available around and have delivery to your room, very polite housekeeping and recepionest

We have been waiting for some hot weather to take advantage of the Monte Cairo's pool for the day! I called the day before, told them we wanted to come for the day and they said yes, welcome for 150 LE you can use the pool from 10am-6pm. We arrived at almost 11am and paid our money, were taken out to the pool and asked if we could wait 30 minutes til the pool was cleaned. Nope, but we will wait in the shade til the pool guy finishes cleaning it. We spent a happy hour enjoying the water and were just having some lunch when the manager came to us (3 women) and told us we had to put on bathing caps! What?! I said no one told us we would have to wear bathing caps. Oh, well the sign is in Arabic, he said. But the guy over there has more hair on his back than I have on my head! I wanted to say! Anyway, the matter was dropped when we said we wanted our money back and we would just leave.
NEXT TIME I'M GOING TO THE HOLIDAY INN!

Usually empty and clean, but if there are visitors they are often conservative and not very friendly.

Probably the only hotel in Mokatam area. Nothing fancy, but very friendly staff and nice location, 20 mins from down town, 20 mins from new Cairo. There is pool and they have halls which can be rented for small events and meetings.

Was treated as family from the airport pickup at 2am to the day i leftthe condo was nice and clean, the receptionists were amazing! And pool was great. many choices for food and snacks and uber!
