Subject: disappointment
Greetings,
I have visited LaBodiga restaurant in summer of 2015 it was a great experience. I thought i would repeat my visit this summer 2017 and my experience was as following:
- The microbus experience: The place was empty as we have arrived very early with a pre-reservation. We where 9 people and they squeezed us on a tiny table that is enough to accommodate only for 6 people. We arrived at 10:30pm and left at 1:00am and the table next to us we begged to expand on was still empty, and the place was not even half full.
- Torture of service: food served without silverware, no napkins, no coffee, tea is served with a tea bag, sugar is served in hot milk container with a SOUP SPOON !
- The zombie staff: the whole staff was out of energy, asking them for the simplest thing like taking off the plates that we are done with 30 minutes ago will make you feel you should kiss there hand to take your service, BTW there was one guy with a white shirt who I guess is the restaurant manager was drunk to the point of not being able to stand without leaning on a table or a chair. I know he is drunk because he burped in my face!!!
- 400 pound: when i asked for the cheque , i was informed that there is a minimum charge of 400 per person that will make our bill at 3600. I refused to pay the minimum charge at the beginning, and agreed later if i was to be provided with a receipt, the manager came back to me with a receipt of only 2550 which is for our orders only and told me that he tock of the minimum charge as a personal favor of him. I believe that he couldn't because i asked for the system generated receipt.
- The parking gangsters: while parking my car i was not informed that i should make any payments (btw there was no valet parking when i arrived) but when i mount my car with my wife and one more couple one guy approached us and asked for his payment as he said that they are renting the parking out of the restaurant and we should pay him. I refused. They try to block the way out of the parking but i made it out with force.
I regret every minute i spent at that place, im surprised how could anybody run a business in Marassi resort with these standards.

Cool, amazing food, try the fillet and the mushroom risotto. Lovely crowed and great music. Highly recommended
