The museum of the most educated man in ancient Egypt, architect of the pyramids and that was filmed in movie mummy
There are some interesting pieces and information and it's a nice cool place to rest from the heat. But it's a bit small with not much to it.
The security man was friendly.
A great museum that is away from the hustle and bustle of the much busier Cairo Museum. The artefacts in this museum are great and give a great insight into the history of Egypt. The security is much less strict than Cairo and are much friendlier. Make sure you have a great tour guide with you to explain the artefacts. Beware of the locals, who will be persistent to be your "friend" and later on want a tip.
Very useful place to know about Imhotep, a great man

Very nice place Quiet and colorful and informative
I believe it has the potential to be a very nice museum. However people will not visit sites where photography is not allowed. I highly recommend that this be reviewed. 80 Egyptian pounds to enter plus 2 Egyptian pounds to park. Also the people at the pyramids also want to be paid.
Quite nd calm place.
