The centre of all textile trading in cairo, variety of options at much cheaper prices, but don't be shy too haggle I've seen prices being brought down to half the original offers.

Open street market, mainly buy bed linens, all sorts of fabric , curtains, dress material and furniture material. Other clothes items are cheap quality and price. Go as low as you want with prices till you reach your budget, it's still cheaper than known fabroc shops. It is safe and there is a parking area on the I side near shops and the church area. Take a taxi or walk from zamalek. Not all shops open on Sundays

You have to haggle the price like crazy, but biggest variety of curtains and linens in all of Egypt.
