Overall a very good experience, it was really helpful to have a guide to see the Pyramids in Egypt and also see the city on the city tour. During the initial set up of the tours I thought the office who helps book the tours was a little too persistent while I was figuring out my plans but other than that no complaints! Emad was our tour guide and did a great job. Our drivers were also great too!

We would like to add our ‘excellent’ rating to the thousands of other satisfied customers. On behalf of the small Australia/NZ group of 5 that had the pleasure of touring Egypt with Luxor and Aswan Travel, our sincere thanks. Egypt is one of those ‘bucket list’ destinations that you may only get to visit once in your lifetime so you want it to be a memorable experience. Ours certainly was. From the moment we landed in Cairo until the moment we flew out, Luxor and Aswan Travel looked after us better than we could have expected. From Cairo to Aswan to Luxor to the resort city of Hurghada on the Red Sea, we were given the ‘red carpet’ treatment.

The Egyptian people were very warm and welcoming. Everywhere we travelled we were greeted with smiles and a ‘welcome’. Apart from the amazing history there is the amazing traffic. 25 million people in Cairo makes for very interesting driving. Lanes are marked on the arterial roads but they could have saved the paint. Three marked lanes often had 6 lanes of traffic. We were told that honking the horn means ‘I love you’ so all we can say is that Egypt has a lot of love!! Travelling by road is a real experience.

To Marwa Aziz, Assistant Head of English Sales, a big thank you for all the preparations and arrangements you put in place for us, and for your patience while we sorted out exactly what we wanted to do. To Eid Mohamed Moawed our Egyptologist for Aswan and Luxor, and to Mohamed Mostafa our Egyptologist in Cairo, a special thank you. Your knowledge, enthusiasm and passion for your country's history was inspiring. You made it a fantastic tour. Thank you for looking after us, and thank you for your friendship. To all theLuxor and Aswan Travel staff including Mohamed (our driver), Hatem our guide for Abu Simbel, and Tarek our Tour Manager we thank you also for your support and hospitality. Thank you Luxor and Aswan Travel. We wish the company every success for the future.

We left Egypt having gained a great deal of knowledge, new friends and a feeling that we were given a very special private tour of Egypt.
