When i came to him with my dying dog that had injested something toxic, he did the bare minimum to sustain him, I later discovered this when I went to another vet who actually helped him get better. There are many centers in Maadi that offer a better and more well rounded diagnosis and treatment for your pet without the unnecessary and antiquated demeaning attitude that this doctor has towards the animal owners. I suggest going somewhere else

Very clean and comfortable clinic, which is something not too easy to find. I find that I trust Dr. Bahgat's diagnoses and treatments, and wouldn't easy take my pets to any other vet. I do recommend.

DR. FAROUK BAHGAT is the MOST experienced Veterinary I've ever met in Egypt. He treated my beloved dog MORENA for at least 14 years. He was always very accurate with his diagnostics, and he helped us to keep her in great shape until she died when she was very close to complete 18 years.
I came across Dr. Farouk's name after my friend Rebeca's dog (Ingy) was poisoned at the Ghazira Club in Zamalek. She immediately contacted Dr. Farouk and he saved Ingy, this was many years ago.
Now we have a new Puppy whose name is CHIQUITA. So, Dr. Farouk will be her Veterinary in Cairo because we trust him and with a lot of confidence we can put our babies in his hands.
I absolutely trust him and will recommend him with my eyes-blind.

WHEN WE FIRST WENT TO DR FAROUK IT WAS WITH OUR PRECIOUS FLUFFY. WE HAD JUST LOST OUR PRECIOUS WHISKERS TO A VERY BAD VET HERE IN HELWAN AND WE CRIED AND CRIED AND SO I CALLED THE AMERICAN EMBASSY IN CAIRO AND THEY RECOMMENDED DR FAROUK. IT TURNED OUT FLUFFY WAS GOING TO DIE IF SHE DID NOT HAVE AN OPERATION IMMEDIATELY AS DR FAROUK SAID. WE SAW HIM ON A FRIDAY AND WE MADE THE OPERATION FOR THE SOONEST AVAILABLE WITH DR FAROUK FOR MONDAY. DURING THE WEEK END OOH OUR PRECIOUS FLUFFY WAS IN A VERY BAD WY. I STAYED UP ALL THE WEEK END WITH HER SHE WAS IN A LOT OF PAIN EVEN GROWLING. ON MONDAY DR FAROUK PERFORMED THIS OPERATION TO REMOVE HER UTURUS AND WE WAITED AT A COFFE CLOSE BY AND PRAYED FOR THEM BOTH. THEN WHEN DR FAROUK CALLED US TO COME THE OPERATION WAS OVER AND IT WAS A SUCCESS ALHAMDULILLAH. DR FAROUK SHOWED ME THE UTURUS AND IT HAD BEEN SOO INFECTED HE HAD HAD TO TAKE SOME INFECTION OUT FIRST WITH A NEEDLE THEN REMOVE IT AND YES FOR SURE SHE WOULD HAVE DIED HAD WE NOT TAKEN HER TO HIMHE KNEW THIS JUST BY FEELING HER STOMACHE WITH HIS HANDS. AMAZING. NOW FLUFFY IS 1 HAPPY CAT AND SHE IS A CHARACTER UNUSUAL FOR A 100% PERSIAN. NOW WE HAVE 3 CATS AND WE TRUST IN ALLAH AND DR FAROUK AND ALWAYS GO TO HIM JUST. MANY MANY BLESSINGS TO DR FAROUK ALLAH HAFIZ MAY ALLAH ALWAYS PROTECT HIM. AMIIN.
