Nice historical place that brings in great memories. Like everything in Egypt it is manager unprofessionally, ordered 3 different choices and the waiter comes back and says it is sold out. Ruined the experience
Nice place, but the availability of the things I've heard of like chocolate croissant and tiramisu.. We went for latte, Turkish coffee and Oreo cheesecake.. I was disappointed that the Turkish coffee is the only thing that tasted good..the other stuff was on average or even below
Great food, great location, reasonable prices. Tried several drinks, hot chocolate, turkish coffee, fresh lemon juice, all are good. Tried desserts, baklava, snickers fudge, both excellent. Tried oriental salad, mosakka, zucchini gratin, all outstanding, great taste, generous portions, and low prices. Waiters are the weakest link though. However the whole experience was amazing, and so far it is my favourite place in Alexandria.
A treasure from the past. Heritage, elegance, and a wide variety of gourmet food and pastries, made to THE original standards. The coffee though could be better.
Very nice ice cream and lovely vintage place.. their bakery variety is a blessing to have for a breakfast. The place to go foŕ a dessert.
Very delicious cake .. nice outdoor seating in open air
Must try the club sandwitch.. perfect
Friendly staff yet slow service
One of my favourite desserts places with a good quality and reasonable prices
Historical place. I love going there.
But honestly too slow service.
The view is nice & the food is delicious. Service is a bit slow & the bathroom wasn't at it's best but, once i informed the supervisor he welcomed my comments and asked for immediate cleaning. Maybe because i went there early and the jenetor wasn't there by that time. An over all good experience though abd the staff were friendly.
A great place for those who have asweet tooth. They have the best cheesecake and red velvet cake you can eat.
It is a very old place in alexandria, almost 100 years of age and still so clean and so well reserved.
Waiters are very respectful and caring.
It's popular because it's considered as a vintage cafe in Alexandria. It offers good desserts and drinks but not the best as it used to be. It's always crowded and the service is not always satisfying. The prices are affordable.
Worst service. They have a new dining room called La Veranda. Went there for dinner over the weekend after recommendation by a friend, not a single client present. However none of the tables were clean or ready to receive customers. We selected the least dirty table. A waiter came picked up the plates from the table but left the dirty and used tissues. Slipped menus on the table without a word and was gone. More than 20 minutes passed without any one paying any attention nor that anyone if staff stepped foot in the dining room or cared to take an order. So, had to leave the place.
Lovely ambiance, and all the staff are very friendly. The moussaka was wonderful! I'm taking pastry trays back to Cairo as presents - delicious.
It's an amazing place.. but if you are a not a smoker please ask for the non-smokers area. I didn't know there was one and had to smell a lot of smoke till I discovered it 😂 anyway it's cool and prices are very good and suitable for everyone.
