I am in the middle of a beginners course and all my expectation have been more than fulfilled. I am surprised how fast my progress is, even though i am already in my mid fourties. I did choose Dahab Stars initially because they offered me the most flexible and reasonable rate compared two other surf schools that I compared with. the school is run by two brothers. I work together with the younger one Ahmed. I have to say that this guy has a very good teaching method, or at least it works for me. In the first day he gave me an overview of all the necessary things to learn. Like the pieces of the puzzle. And then we started with each puzzle. I get along with one hour teaching per day and he is focusing already now after three days on the basic errors, that I am doing. Different to some other schools that I noticed nearby, Ahmed put me on a real surfboard and not on a beginners board (wider and more stable). I enjoy Dahab Stars since I have the feeling that with their help this could turn into a long term hobby. Needless to say that the lagoon and the wind are perfect for beginners.

Really loved my first windsurfing experience and achieved so much progress with Ahmed Dahwud just after a few lessons. Excellent instruction, great location and super safe. Can't wait to return to Dahab for more lessons and fun.

I've visited Dahab Stars (formerly Club Dahab) for many years. One of the best locations for windsurfing and for hanging out at the beach. Great kit rental, tuition and storage and friendly helpful staff.
