Amazing hotel. The staff is really nice and professional. There are shops inside the hotel open 24hrs/24. The only problem I had was that close my room there were some renovation and the noise was not tollerable. I got anyway another room, an upgraded one. The restaurant choice within the hotel is pretty good. The food is cooked very well from professional chefs. For a nice stay in Cairo it is absolutely recommended.

Staff is great. Hotel looks like from other era and life placed in the middle of Cairo. Food is great and my room was spacious with great balcony.
Overall cleaning and maintenance could be improved and prices too.

It's an authentic beautiful hotel, as you can tell from the first moment you step in it how luxurious and deep-rooted the structure and buildings are. Very friendly staff. Their buffet is full of varieties and delicious dishes and vegetables, fruits and bakerirs are really fresh.

Stunning hotel. Spotless and 5 star all the way. Our airport pick up was faultless and so was our check in. Our room was beautiful and quiet with luxury linens. We upgraded to executive lounge and it was well worth the extra cost. The pool was beautiful but the spa was a little dirty in my opinion. I didn't like the feeling of being hassled and followed around in the on-site shops and I didn't like feeling of being "hustled" when it came to our transfer to the railway station for our overnight trip to Luxor. I don't know if the hotel's front desk clerks get a kick-back from the operators who transfer people to the train station, but it all seemed a bit dodgy to me. The check out process was very slow and we waited almost 40 minutes in line, which was disappointing. That said, the grounds are stunning and I would stay here again, but would be wiser from my previous experience.

The place is exceptional very nice view, the room was ok looks old but clean small mini bar witch looks good welcoming 2 small bottles of water I enjoyed the balcony more than any thing else I had trouble with the electric plug of my gadgets I had only one to use in the room uk style so I had to charge every thing using it so u should bring converters with u. The toilets are clean and smells, nice 40 inch led tv with a good collection of Channels

Booked online, duplex room with Nile view, reception were friendly but definitely could be improved, the room was nothing like the booking showed, it had a city view which was a an online option that i didn't pick, i called the reception been told to wait, time passed by with no respond , went down and contacted the manger, long story short i got another room with a spectacular Nile view with large balcony.
Near the city center, security is every where , nice outdoor seating for breakfast .

A renovation is really overdue for this hotel. It looks very old and abandoned. The room was big but didn't feel really clean. The bed was very hard and despite using the vanity kit on my first day they never replaced it for the next 2 nights.

Check in took me a good 20 mins at midnight and on top of all I saw people smoking indoors in the common areas without any of the stuff saying anything.

I truly enjoyed my room facing the Nile River. The room was well placed. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. There room was ample and large. The bathroom had a tub and had everything needed. It was clean and the housekeeping staff were highly professional. The amenities in the hotel were great. The lobby seemed a little tight and crowded most of the time, but it looked very romantic and subdued. The food was very tastefully cooked. The outside courtyard of the hotel was also a beautiful place to sit and dine and have drinks. There are several places one can walk to safely and have pizza or coffee or even shop. A very nice location. I would stay here again and highly recommend it.

Love this hotel. It's my favourite place to go and change things up. They have a beautiful garden and an amazing restaurant. This place was a palace that became a hotel. Worth visiting. The staff is super nice.
