It's one of the best place to get information in the world It's the second Francophone bibliotheca Have Division divided to 3 1 for kids small kids , 1 for youth and 1 Very big one for Teens and appove Have many museums President Sadat museum , Roman Greek museum , old alexandria museum and old Manuscripts

All you can expect and more! Amazing structure with natural light, the perfect place for a quiet research or reading. At the same time is a museum. Important events happen in this location. And it has a planetarium for the joy of children and adults. A place for all family

The Library of Alexandria was reborn in October 2002 to reclaim the mantle of its ancient namesake. It is not just an extraordinarily beautiful building; it is also a vast complex where the arts, history, philosophy, and science come together. Moreover, the myriad activities it offers have made it a place for open discussion, dialogue, and understanding.

Don't forget the museum at basement. You hv to buy separate ticket for it. Small but vey nicely arranged. Unfortunately not allowed to take pictures.

I really enjoyed my visit. My best advice is to ask for a tour guide: there is a free guide at certain times that will tell you a lot of interesting facts about the Library, making your visit amazing.

Amazing place that combines both ancient and modern worlds. A great place to acquire knowledge or work on a research. The buildings, the designs and the location are crafting together a unique atmosphere for reading and I feel it's an extension for the old library of Alexandria. You can find there books from various genres and a lot of interesting resources.

The place is tremendous, well organized, ginormous, with lots to offer, a feeling of being overwhelmed shall conquer your soul. you definitely need to add this place to the visit list.

Alexandria's biggest tourist attraction!
A library/museum that has the perfect mix of ancient art, and modern science.

It's a lovely place. Museums, art work, books and future plans to digitalise the books. It would be great if all old manuscripts from bygone centuries were uploaded and translated to other languages. Time flies while in this facility. Beware NON-Egyptians 70 pounds to enter main library, 50 for Antiquities Museum, 30 for Manuscripts Museum. And there is a couple more museums.
