  A really nice museum to get a brief and quick history not only about the city of Alexandria since it was built by Alexander the great but also about almost all the peroids of history that Egypt had encountered. The tour guides are really knowledgeable and the museum is taken care of really well.

  They hv relatively good collection but unfortunately display is really bad. Not good lighting system. Anyway you can hv good idea abt Alaxandrea history. Can buy separate ticket for the photographs.

  Unfortunately there are few information written and dates are completely missing.
  I wouldn't say it's amazing but it's nonetheless one of the best thing to visit in Alexandria, definitely worth a look.

  ♥♥♥♥♥ Nice tourist attraction. The national museum is located in a restored Italian palace, contains about 1,800 artifacts that narrate the history of Egypt throughout different ages.

  Very nice modern museum. Compared to the Cairo museum, exhibits are much better labeled and have better lighting. I really enjoyed the exhibit covering the underwater excavations off the coast of Alexandria.

  Beautiful building, uncrowded
  You have to check out the underwater excavations section
  And also, I loved the atmosphere created in the ancient Egyptian section
