Lovely place to hangout with friend. Went here once with my new friend and it was nice experience. Though in one side the view is the grief area (excuse me if I call ot with wrong name) but still it is good to be there.

One of the cleanest public parks in Cairo. Has a great view of the city as it is on a hill. Could be difficult to get to as it is close to a very crowded and tourist and shopping area. Walking distance to Khan Al khalili and Al Azhar mosque. Entrance is 15 Egp. Closes at 10 p. Nice walking trail, has restaurants , snacks and drinks areas.nice playground and area for the kids.

You must go here if you're in Cairo. The park is the highest point in the city and the view is amazing. The park is beautiful and well tended. There's security all over the place and I felt safe there. They have several restaurants in the park but there is also plenty of space to picnic and outdoor snack shops.

An oasis within Cairo. It's stunning here. Recommend coming an hour or so before sunset, walking around, getting a bite or drink at the citidel restaurant and enjoying the view. Easy to get an Uber or taxi back from here. If you're a foreigner, you may want to cover yourself well if you don't want friendly photos being taken.

We entered at night and are at the restaurant. It was a great meal after a long day of sightseeing. The staff was friendly and the food great.

This park is beautiful, gorgeous view of the city at night. We had lunch at the restaurant and the service was extremely slow. We were there over 2 hours to have lunch. Must improve. Almost gave them 3 stars because of this but the park is beautiful.

The only actual park in Cairo. A beautiful spot to walk around while surrounded by the historic core of the city. I love combining a visit to the Citadel with a visit to the park. The playground is a bit rough but it's okay. Avoid going at all on a Friday as it's way to crowded. Going earlier in the day before 2 pm is your best bet on Saturdays. The restaurants are good as well. Grab a crepe at a small stand next to the lake and enjoy your walk.

Beautiful place to escape the hustle and bustle of downtown Cairo. The park is easily reached by foot from al-Azhar mosque and takes around 20 minutes, casual stroll. Otherwise a taxi can drop you off at the entrance on Salah Salem road. There is a small entrance fee which is used to maintain the park and a security checkpoint as visitors enter. The park itself is beautiful and home to two hills from where you gain amazing panoramas of Cairo. Look for the Pyramids in the distance! There is also a water garden which is a nice feature and a couple of restaurants perched on top of the other hill. Definitely a must visit place, especially before sunset - listening to multiple call to prayers sound off and watch the sun disappearing is a memory to cherish forever! Great for families and on your own.
