A son's attempt to out do his father without disrespecting him. Khafre's pyramid is actually smaller than Khufu's but it appears taller because it is built on higher ground.

Second trip in 2017. This place is amazing and yet disappointing. As one of the seven wonders of the world it should be preserved to the highest standards. The roads into the area, shops and neighborhoods should be pleasant. The area around is nasty, the area around the pyramids is nasty with thrash. Everyone there is hustling to make a pound.
