'Possibly the most chilled out airport I've been in' to quote my travel companion. Really not busy at all ( Saturday in early May). You can get here easily by bus or tram from town.
Even with metal detector going off on me, didn't take long to go through security. Staff efficient but courteous. Like the rest of Tallin, child-friendly okay areas around.response / report this review -

The airport was recently renovated foreseeing the Estonian presidency in the European Council. It has become very cosy and authentic place, addressing at the same time needs and requirements of demanding travelers. New equipment accelerates security checks, a few shops offer authentic Estonian craft goods, free library features numerous books. It has become is a nice place to spend time :)

My favorite airport so far. Small and cozy, you leave the airplane and you feel like if you walk into someone's home. Very friendly staff, lots of places for food or snack for reasonable price.

The airport itself is among the most charming anywhere, easy to navigate, friendly, homey. The bad rating is just for the currency exchange Change It, located inside the gate area, whose abhorrently bad rates are revolting even in the context of always-bad rates at any airport. It seems even bad spirited for the airport to allow such an organisation to run a business here. The difference between here and say Tavid, the best place in tallinn to change money, is over 15%, which is truly disgusting. Why even support such scam operations from existing in the airport.

Best airport ever! Cute little themes at every gate with nice and comfortable seating areas or even sleeping areas. There is a playground for the young and a small library. Totally loved my waiting time here.

As airports go Tallinn airport is a refreshing change with sleeping pods, free table tennis, free gym, open piano alongside many other offerings.

Everything can be improved anywhere (especially when it comes to security checks and boarding experience) but I rate this airport 5 stars out of 5 for it's relaxed atmosphere, cozy coffee shops, nice interior, ping pong table, helpful staff and seeming commitment to listening for customers' feedback and improving.

The entire experience at this airport is fantastic—from the tasteful and bright decor to the cozy library and sweet cafes to the incredible hospitality of the security staff. I've never had such a pleasant time at the airport!
The only drawback was the weird sexist beauty-industry propaganda on the bathroom stall doors. Luckily, at least one person had the gall to write in their own response to the "good luck" of high heels.response / report this review -

Probably the best airport on Europe. I know I am a bit biased here, but I really think that's true. Considering that airport is expanding and direct tramm line to city centre is being built, this is going to be even better.
Airport is fairly small, but that might be a benefit in the end, layout is fairly straightforward and you don't need to walk much. They even have an aquarium, which I find amusing every time I visit.

Cozy airport is not just an advertising slogan. They run with the fact, that it is a small airport and make the best out of it. I have returned here quite regularly and saw different stages of development and improvement over the last five years. And it seems they are still striving to make your travel as smooth, enjoyable and efficient as possible. I like it.

Small but very well designed airport. As it's slogan says, it is indeed the coziest airport in the world. Lots of good quality local souvenirs and nice eats and drinks selection. Security check very efficient and polite. Business lounge is cosy too.

Very nice and cozy airport. Small is the new black! No long waits, no long hiking with luggage, all close by. Definitely visit the wine bar at the end of the main departures hall.

Medium sized, can not say something bad about this airport, for the size of Tallin, this airport accomplish with the job very well. Maybe it only needs a bit more variety in shops and cafes, but thats a secondary thing.

Cosy feel, manageable and close to the city. Soft lighting, variety of soft furnishings make it a relaxing place to spend time. Can this catch on in other airports please?
