There is not other place in Estonia where you can try the very traditional local cuisine with a very reasonable price. The particular decoration inside makes the place an extravagant but cozy place. I used to go more than once a week when I lived in the town. This is a must in Haapsalu. Whatever you order here, it is going to be incredibly tasty with huge portions. Nice staff as well (especially if you try to spill your orders in a very vague Estonian).

Dette trodde jeg var en helt vanlig pub for stamgjester (noe det også var) og jeg ville ha gått forbi uten å tenke noe mer over den. Vår venner fra Haapsalu tok oss med hit for å spise middag den ene kvelden og det ble et hyggelig besøk. En helt typisk estisk pub fikk jeg høre og den virket trivelig og hadde selvfølgelig sitt bord med de faste stamgjestene. De hadde noen enkle middagretter til en meget rimelig penge. Vi bestilte alle sammen dagens rett som var gryterett med biff. Det smakte utmerket. Det var en gryterett med poteter, kjøtt, løk og diverse tilbehør. Kraftig og god. Stedet anbefales!

Hea kodukokandus, saad ikka kõhu täis, hubane , väga sõbralik teenindus ja muidugi vähem kui pool hinda kõikidest nendest turistirestodest. Väärt väike jalutuskäik!
