We were all set to have dinner here. Ordered a couple of starters and some beers. Expensive and unremarkable food arrived - then the waitress demanded that we settle the bill for what we'd ordered so far there and then, as she was finishing for the night! So we did - and had the rest of our meal elsewhere.

Surprisingly interesting place, very well made sort of real russian traditional atmosphere, or whatever people would expect from word "russian" basing on common prejudices (here 19'th century literature We had a meeting with 10 colleagues, sitting behind one big table and been educated on the subject of traditional cooking. Gipsy songs and dances were just wonderful!

Get the dumplings (Village dumplings? - with the bread hat) and a shot of vodka. Hands down, one of the best dumplings I’ve ever had and I keep coming back to this place for a fix.

My visit was only to the bar and the beer selection was not as good as it could be right next to the square. Had to drink Saku byääh 😭

Great venue and nice attractions. They sure know how to entertain guests. Clear Russian vibe as it should be. However. There are some good dishes (their signature steak is good, sides are disappointment; pelmeni). However some disappointments. Overall decent food, but with high prices. Selection of vodka and beer is solid. Vinelist too short and cheapish (not price wise). So visit, you may like it, you surely will be entertained. Should you visit for the second time? Not sure.. You know after the first visit!

Over priced and the service wasn't the greatest. Our orders were forgotten.

Ridiculous. A little expensive. But great. Try the vodka.

Russian (so called) food. Neither good, nor bad.Just ordinary. Curiosity at best.

Expensive, but they do have bear-meat.
Every now and then a dance by three ladies, but partly behind restaurant-cabinets (blocking the view).
And when you're enjoying a tea afterwards the bill is presented like 'you have to go'.

On the main townsquare, one of the terraces with the longest period of evening-sun there.

Spent our New Years Eve at Troika. There was lot of fun stuff to watch like watching girls pour vodka. Food was mediocre.

I liked the traditional Russian cuisine but why is this place hidden in a basement?

Had Vana Tallinn coffee. Drink was good but a little overpriced. Nice location and has sun longer than all other outdoor venues on the Town Square.

Decent food, high prices. Walked into the bar part and was asked if we wanted to eat or drink. When we said eat, we were whisked away down a flight of stairs to the basement dining room where we were given the hard sell to order their 30+ Euro multi-course meal without being given much of a chance to get our bearings. Shoulda just said we wanted to drink and then ordered food.

Have looked forward to visiting for a number of years, never had the chance. Finally made it. Was very disappointed. The food was ok, but it was so overpriced. The place smelled odd, the service was not great. 2 portions of dumplings, 1 borsh, 1 portionof blini and a couple of drinks was about €55. Feel like we got suckered in. Sad.

Overpriced. They used to be better and cheaper and now it's just a tourist trap. Service was bad, food was OK. 154 Euros for 4 people (1 beer and two vodka each)
