Very nice place for a beer or lunch or dinner. Soups are in the bread bowls, very thick ans filling. Overall very good place with rich history.

Nice place with good aesthetics. Not very good for young people but great for middle aged. Dance floor gets very crowded when there's good bands performing.

WOW!!! I am in love with this place. I surely recommend everyone. They do have vegans. The interior of the restaurant is breathtaking. I would really visit here again.

    Absolutely worth checking out!
Pretty awesome old munitions storage turned into an eclectic and character filled bar. Prices are what you'd expect for a more touristy spot but tasty food and great portions.
Their unique beer is a must try and there seems to be plenty of great live music and activities here

Such a great atmosphere. The most authentic restaurant in Tartu so far. A must visit.

It is a really nice place to go for a drink and even for a meal but you have to choose wise because not all what you get is good.
I can recommend you the breadbowl filled with different kinds of soup.
That's actually the only thing i liked.
    Peace and out

A restaurant built in an old gunpowder magazine underground. Beer hall or country style, long tables and benches. Traditional Estonian food, craft beer. Local fish courses and soups were excellent. Prices maybe a bit over average, but reasonable. A must if you go to Tartu!

It's definitely a place worth visiting for its unique atmosphere. It's restaurant with the highest ceiling (won Guiness record). Staff is nice and helpful, no problem with english. Food was a little bit oily for me, but good, beer was also fine.

Bad service, decent food, very cool interior.
From the few times I've been there the waiting staff has a tendency of disdainfully treating everyone like drunks even if you are the sober car driver.

The place is beatiful and worth seeing. The food and service is OK. I went for dinner but probably grabbing a late beer would be a better experience

A unique place to visit, even if only once in a lifetime. The room itself has stunning atmosphere, food is good and if you respect the people serving you, they will definitely provide a professional service.

Historic place - historic military site, but also culturally important pub for Tartu. Mainly known for its special beer and large mugs. It has a decent pub food, but also very good salads and interesting meals. Price range is wide - cheap and delicious for students, finer foods for better off citizens. Quite often live music. So if you are looking for a pub, this is a must. Otherwise go and check the vibe and menu, and you may like (but certainly will not get bored).
