Ideal place to learn the history of Pärnu.
Amazing.. Super friendly
I loved it. It's quite modern museum of parnu city and estonia. It has mini theater with short videos of history. Also it has realistic made exibishions that you can touch it feel historical atmosthere.
best way to know about hystory of Pärnu. Many interactive objects
Nice history museum in the city centre
Interesting exhibitions, good vibe and friendly staff.
Lovely museum, interesting short history of Estonia. Exhibits in English & Estonian. Entry for Adults was €4 & children are free. Not obvious where the museum parking was, but the staff were very helpful and got us sorted no problem.
Permanent exhibits cover from 11000BC right up to the modern era. The recent history section was fascinating and a real eye opener.
There are a few interactive exhibits and a kids room with some drawing paper and pens that keep children occupied.
While we were there (August 2016) the temporary exhibition on the 3rd floor was an Andy Warhol video exhibition. The price for an adult was only €3 and well worth the extra.
The gift shop was standard offering the usual stuff, and our tickets for the museum entitled us to 10% off in the coffee shop next door.
Interesting museum. Thousands of years of Parnu history.. We especially liked the old movies from 1920-1990.
