  Build by Russian aristocrat Orlov. Another name is Orlov Castle. On the high sea coast with fantastic views to the Tallinn harbour and the city panoram. The entrance via nice stairways to the hill. There is Estonian History Museum located nowdays. Very nice refurbished buildings and sorroundings. New interactive and very interesting exposition. New Estonian Film Museum opened current year in new buildings. Fully recommended to see. Just do not trust the people in the ticket office that just two hours is to observe both museums. More or less realistic is 2,53 hours to historical part and up to 1,5 hours for Film Museum. Small tip for parents, there are big playing ground outside and very functional kids educational room inside the historical part. There are several wirkshop rooms in Film and History museums for groups and school classes. Old Soviet monuments exposition on the backyard of the castle. Selfie memory wth Stalin, Kalinin or Lennin you could do there.

  Freshly renovated history museum offers a small glimpse (you can do it probably in an hour) to Estonia's past. Cafe/restaurant is a nice surprise.

  Orlovi Loss / Maarjamäe Palace (the place will re-open to the public in Q1 2018): This fully renovated, highly elegant facility has great potential of becoming one of the most scenic venues for grand receptions, parties and musical performances of the town.
