  €9 adult entrance fee in September. Big open museum. Some buildings are staffed with people in period costume, with fairly good English who were keen to explain the farmstead/attraction. Kolu Inn had good cheap filling food. On a Sunday, the bus to and from town are less frequent, but have a look at one of the photos I've uploaded for bus times.

  Mind that you can't enter this restaurant without a museum ticket. The food is basic, affordable and tasty. The booze is absurdly expensive. The cider cost me more than the meal.
